This was a fantastic tour and we all enjoyed it. Our tour guide John was amazing and very knowledgeable. Our chefs Kyle and Magoo were awesome and cooked some of the best food I’ve ever had. Very highly recommend this tour and I would love to do it again in the future.

Each participant picked our own food item at a market and then were pleasantly surprised at the dishes that the chefs prepared for us! While they cooked, our tour guide John took us on an excellent tour of upper King Street area and all the history.
What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

This whole experience was a joy. It's a really smart idea to combine a short walking tour together with a chef-prepared dining experience. You start the day by shopping with the chefs in a local market and then letting them go off to the restaurant to begin to prepare food while you spend an hour with a wonderful tour guide to learn a bit about one of the neighborhoods of Charleston. Then you return to the restaurant to see what small plate offerings the chefs came up with using the ingredients you selected.
The food was all great and creatively prepared. We especially enjoyed the conversation with the chefs who shared their thought process about each of the many courses they came up with.
Good Tour. Awesome Food. Amazing Chefs.

This was my first ever Farm-to-Table experience. It was a unique style in which we got to pick out the food/ingredients, and then two professional chefs made us a 7 (maybe 8) tapas-style tasting menu in about an hour and a half. They were excellent and accommodated that I was with someone who was vegetarian. The walking tour was good, it was more done from commentary from our tour guide and his individual experiences than an overall historical/general perspective, but it was interesting to see his experience with the area and what he deemed important vs. general history. The price was slightly high, but I don't think that should deter anyone from doing this.
