Cold at Boone Hall Plantation

It was 20 degrees when we arrived. The staff continued to talks as if it wasn’t. Informative but not able to enjoy as much as we would have if the weather had been warmer.
Great tour guide and great site!

My wife and I traveled to Charleston for the first time and we had a great time! The driver/tour guide was Sean and I was very pleased with his knowledge of the area, and his diligence to find answers to my questions. To walk the plantation was a mixture of feelings but nonetheless I am glad to know the grounds my ancestors may have walked.
Interesting

Very well organized with an excellent depiction of the slave life in their homes. Also the Gullah session was inspiring
Nice to visit, maybe not best choice

Easy to book, transportation comfortable, courteous driver. The visit to plantation was ok, expected a bit more. Manor home wasn’t original, built in 1930s. Probably would have picked another one if had known.
