Great paddle in late December

Dallas was an amazing guide, on the water and on land. He even shucked us a few oysters after we finished. Would definitely recommend!
Awesome afternoon on the water

Great time out on the water. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and experienced, both with the kayaking and with the ecosystem and its connectiveness to the rest of the world. This is a must do for any visitors to Charleston.
Peaceful and great value!

Gorgeous morning on the marsh. Guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. 2 hours-so worth the money! We ranged in age from 23-61.
Great experience. Highly recommend!

We are visiting from northern NY where there are ample opportunities to kayak but this was one of our best kayaking experiences. This was our first experience with COA but definitely will not be our last. Our guide, Ryan, was very knowledgeable of the area and the estuary ecosystem. She was also very engaging with all of us including our autistic son which made it all the more enjoyable for us and him in particular.
Highlights were seeing two bald eagles as well as a variety of waterfowl and a number of dolphins breaching near our kayaks. Again Ryan was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. Would highly recommend this adventure.
Relaxing and dolphin-filled kayak outing

We lucked out and had a guide all to our small group, and the tour started off on the right foot - as we were loading into the kayaks, a small group of dolphins was swimming just ahead of us! We pretty much followed them (at a respectable distance) for a large portion of our time on the water, while our guide Ali told us so much about the saltwater marsh, the dolphins and the various birds we saw. It was a bit brisk, but we all had enough layers and were provided with kayak skirts to prevent any water from coming into our kayaks. Ali was very knowledgeable about the whole ecosystem, from the mud to the animals to the grasses and the industries that relied on it all. Wished we could've gone further than we did in the kayaks - it was definitely more of a float around than what I've done in other kayak tours. But it was a beautiful day and we got to see dolphins, so couldn't ask for much more!
